Your choices stay
on your iPhone.

How IBlock handles your choices, your sessions and anything you send us.

Effective ·

In short

IBlock has no account. Your app choices, sessions, Screen Time data and settings stay on your iPhone and are never used for advertising. Purchase records leave it if you buy a paid option (see Purchases). If you allow ad measurement, IBlock also tells Meta when the app is installed or opened and when a trial or purchase happens, to measure its ads (see Ad measurement). It stays off unless you say yes twice: on IBlock’s page, then in Apple’s tracking prompt.

Who is responsible

IBlock is published by Brm Agency LLC, Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, 00000. Contact us about privacy at superdev@brmagency.co.

Screen Time

IBlock uses Apple’s Screen Time frameworks to block the apps you choose. Apple’s app picker gives IBlock opaque tokens for your selection: IBlock cannot see the names of your apps or how you use them. The blocking itself is applied by iOS on your device.

What stays on your iPhone

Your blocked-app selection, session times and history, Routine schedule, Emergency Mode count, the first name and focus you may enter during setup, and your preferences are stored in IBlock’s storage on your iPhone. Session reminders and the Live Activity are created on your device. Your device backups may include this data, according to your Apple settings. Deleting IBlock removes it from the device.

Purchases

If you buy a paid option, Apple processes the payment; we do not receive your payment-card details. RevenueCat, our purchase provider, verifies purchases, restores them and enables paid access. It processes purchase and subscription records under a randomly generated anonymous customer identifier, plus technical request information such as app and SDK version, operating system, device model and storefront. Subscription records also support revenue analytics. If you allow ad measurement, RevenueCat also receives your device’s advertising identifier, Meta’s anonymous app identifier, the app’s vendor identifier and your IP address, and forwards your purchase events to Meta (see Ad measurement). IBlock does not send RevenueCat your name, email, app choices or sessions. Deleting the app neither cancels a subscription nor erases Apple or RevenueCat purchase records. RevenueCat privacy policy

Ad measurement

IBlock advertises on Facebook and Instagram. To learn which ads work, and only if you allow it on IBlock’s page and then in Apple’s tracking prompt, IBlock uses Meta’s software development kit to tell Meta Platforms (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited in the European Union) when the app is installed or opened. RevenueCat tells Meta when a trial starts, a subscription is bought or renewed, or the lifetime option is bought, with its price. These events carry identifiers: your device’s advertising identifier, Meta’s anonymous app identifier, the app’s vendor identifier, your IP address and basic device information. Meta uses them to measure and improve the delivery of IBlock’s ads, under its own privacy policy. IBlock never sends Meta or RevenueCat your blocked apps, sessions, routines, reports, name or focus. The legal basis is your consent. If you say no, nothing is sent. You can withdraw at any time in IBlock → Settings → Ad measurement and in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
